The Story of Miller's Purely MapleHello, we are the Miller's - Dale, Melanie, Joel and Justin. Welcome to our website. We are always excited to have someone take the time from their busy schedule to visit us, whether it is here at the farm, at a show, or when attending one of the local programs we do for schools and parks. During the 1970s, Dale made syrup with his brother as a hobby and gave it to friends and family. In 1980, Dale and Melanie were married, and continued to make syrup for a few more years. In 1995, the sweet sap beckoned again and 100 trees were tapped. Forty gallons of pure Pennsylvania maple syrup were the result of that effort. Some syrup was sold and the rest made its way to our table in a variety of forms. We were HOOKED! |
